Press Release: Flight Dental Systems Sponsors a Team of Dental Professionals and Dental Staff to Haiti

Brampton, ON – Flight Dental Systems is proud to be a sponsor of the Haiti Mission that will be sending a group of dental professionals and dental staff to Port Au Prince in January 2016.
In it’s third consecutive year the dental team will be heading to the capital of the Caribbean country of Haiti to provide free dental clinics in a number of small villages 
in the south of Haiti for both adult and children. In 2015 when the team including two dentists, Dr. Carrie Hui and Dr. Michelle Lee and a dental assistant, Janet Coloma travelled to Haiti they saw over 200 patients
in the span of 7 days and although the trip was busy and exhausting they enjoyed every bit of it. In 2016, Dr. Hui, Dr. Lee, Janet will be joined by 2 additional dentist on this mission. With 4 dentists on this upcoming mission it looks to be an even greater success as they hope to see during this visit over 500 patients over the 7 days that they are there.
When speaking with Dr. Carrie Hui she explained that, “Our journey involved hours of travel on the back of a flatbed truck through dusty unpaved ro
ads, through mountains on steep rocky paths, along river beds and across rivers. Although the trip was extremely busy and very tiring we were happy and grateful to have the opportunity to treat these patients.”

Flight Dental Systems’ also recently attended a Halloween fundraiser held by Dr. Carrie Hui and her staff at Your Neighbourhood Dentist. The event was a huge success and a lot of fun, it also helped raise money towards purchasing instruments, supplies
and equipment for their trip to Haiti.
