April 2017 – Brampton- Flight Dental Systems’ is proud to introduce and welcome Don Temple and Tom Lydynuik to the Flight Team. This is an exciting time for Flight Dental Systems as they continue to expand their operations support team for their dealer network. Both Don and Tom will be great additions to our team and will continue to help Flight Dental Systems grow in the North American market.
Don Temple will take on the role as the new West Coast Sales Manager for Flight Dental Systems supporting our network of dealers in Western Canada and the United States. Don brings with him over 20+ years of experience in manufacturing, sales, and management. His experience is far reaching and covers multiple industries, but some of his roles in the dental industry include being the owner and general manager of a dental chair manufacturer in Abbotsford, BC and also previously the Manufacturing and Assembly Manager at KaVo Dental Technologies. At Kavo, Don was responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and assembly process as well as being involved with the design of the equipment. With Don’s vast experience in manufacturing, it will allow him to transition into this new role very seamlessly and provide an immediate positive impact to the company.
As his role as the West Coast Sales Manager Don will continue to expand our presence in the Western provinces in Canada and also the Western States in the US including but not limited to California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. In addition, he will be working closely with our local territory managers in those states to help them grow their market share.
Tom Lydynuik will be overseeing and managing our technical department as the Technical Service Manager. Tom also has over 20+ years experience in manufacturing, design/engineering and production. Tom previously was the co-owner and production manager for Global Dental Direct leading their production and implementing lean and six sigma principles throughout their manufacturing processes. Prior to working at Global, Tom was also a production manager at KaVo Dental Technologies where he was involved with design, manufacturing and overseeing the entire production process of the KaVo Environment line of products. His responsibilities there included prototyping the first Kavo Environment Chair and delivery units and performing product cycle tests on the equipment.
Tom’s expertise in quality control, lean manufacturing and six sigma principles will translate well as his new role as the technical service manager of Flight Dental Systems. Tom will be leading the technical department and overseeing daily technical support, customer service and assisting with implementing lean principles at the manufacturing level to improve overall processes and efficiencies at the Flight factory. In addition, he will be the lead trainer for the Flight products in Canada and the USA.
