Saddle Stool

The Flight Saddle stool is the newest product to be added to the Flight family of operatory stools. The saddle stool is a multi-purpose stool that is appropriate for dental, medical, podiatry, ENT, beauty, spa, tattoo, veterinarian, lab, technical and office use. Saddle stools are very similar in look, design and feel as an equestrian saddle. The saddle design for seating comes with a pneumatic gas cylinder to allow the user to adjust the correct height to reach the optimal angle of 135 degrees between the hips and knees. On traditional chairs your hips and knees are typically at a 90 degree angle causing most people to naturally slouch or hunch over and over time this can lead to chronic shoulder and back pain. A 135 degree angle promotes proper posture and allows your spine to be in a healthy lordotic curved position that helps to reduce the pressure and stress on your spinal cord and to create a stronger core. It has been clinically proven that the use of a saddle stool is able to build muscle as the stool forces the user to sit up straight thus building both your upper leg, buttocks, abdominal and leg muscles.

The proper way to sit in a saddle stool is at a 135 degree angle with your legs spread out in a way called hip abduction to stabilize the pelvis in an upright orientation. This sitting stance helps to improve balance, hand acuity and strength over time. However, the user typically sits in a higher position and must adjust its work surface to a higher height as well.

Standard Head LED High-speed Handpiece

The Flight Self-Generating High-speed Hand piece is a cost-effective solution that offers quiet handling while also including a unique patent pending chuck system. The built-in electric generator is integrated into the hand piece to provide a consistent voltage to power the LED light bulb. There is no need for fiber optics or any traditional power source because the air used to drive the hand piece turbine also is used to generate power to light the LED bulb. In addition, the light bulb is a direct LED with a 5000hour life expectancy.

Whicam Story 3 Intraoral Camera- Wired

This High Definition Camera (1280 x720) features the most state of the art technology in intraoral cameras today. The camera is available in both wired and wireless options as well. The wireless option uses a high speed digital wireless signal that produces a perfect clear, lag free and interference free image. The wired option uses a USB 2.0 connection direct to the computer for easy plug and play operation.

Xlite LED Curing Light

The Flight LED XLite Curing Light is a high power 1,700 mw/cm2 curing light with the ability to cure most composites within the wavelength of 385-515nm. The 5w LED curing light uses an easily replaceable Lithium Ion battery(3.7VDC) with a full charge that can last up to 30 minutes of continuous use. The unique small head design of the curing light eliminates the need for fiber optic rods that can break and damage over time. The LED is focused directly on the curing light using a glass lens that collimates the LED light. The small 90 Degree head also enables easy access to the posterior of the mouth unlike other curing lights where special fiber optic rods are required to access the posterior of the mouth. The 330 degree swivel head also allows flexibility for the user to access all parts of the mouth.
